Hot Java is the personal weblog of Arch. Christopher De la Cruz, a Filipino architect with over ten years of experience in the design and construction industry. He has worked as a consultant with both public and private organizations. Mr. De la Cruz, has extensive experience in urban environmental management projects in the Philippines. His technical expertise includes design, evaluation and project management of environmental projects.

Mr. Dela Cruz has conducted site assessments, evaluations and design preparation for the establishment of solid waste management facilities in city, municipal and barangays levels in several provinces. He has developed and delivered training sessions on green building, solid waste management and environmental management. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Philippine Green Building Council.
